Butanox M-50 adalah tujuan umum metil etil ketone peroksida (MEKP) Untuk pengawetan resin poliester tak tepu di hadapan pemecut kobalt di bilik dan suhu tinggi.
Sistem pengawetan Butanox M-50/Cobalt Accelerator sangat sesuai untuk pengawetan resin gel, resin laminating, lacquers dan casting; Selain itu, pembuatan bahagian tahan cahaya mungkin bertentangan dengan sistem pengawetan benzoyl peroksida/pemecut amina.
Pengalaman praktikal selama bertahun-tahun telah membuktikan bahawa oleh kandungan air rendah yang dijamin dan ketiadaan sebatian kutub dalam butanox M-50, peroksida ini sangat sesuai dalam produk GRP untuk contohnya Aplikasi Marin.

Thermal stability |
Organic peroxides are thermally unstable substances, which may undergo |

self-accelerating decomposition. The lowest temperature at which self- |
|
|
accelerating decomposition of a substance in the original packaging may |
|
|
occur is the Self-Accelerating Decomposition Temperature (SADT). The |
|
|
SADT is determined on the basis of the Heat Accumulation Storage Test. |
